Click Here for Fall 2008 Art Classes The Mary R. Koch School of Visual Arts Student Faculty Exhibition June 27 - August 10, 2008 An eclectic mix of artwork will be on display in The Mary R. Koch School of Visual Arts 2008 Student-Faculty Exhibition from June 27 through August 10, 2008 at The Wichita Center for the Arts. The annual group exhibit showcases the creative talents of both students and faculty, and provides students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a formal gallery setting. Center Theatre presents Gods Favorite by Neil Simon September 17-21, 2008 This play is a modern retelling of the biblical story of Job by Neil Simon. Set in a Long Island mansion in the late 1960s where Joe Benjamin, a wealthy, God-fearing businessman lives with his family: a long-suffering, spoiled wife, Rose; a prodigal son, David; a pair of kooky twins, Ben and Sarah; and the colorful and opinionated maid and butler, Mady and Morris. Joe is visited by God's messenger, Sidney Lipton, who informs Joe that God has chosen him as the one human that would never forsake him, no matter what. Joe is challenged by fire, by family, by endless itching, neuralgia, tennis elbow, etc. Joe is finally faced with the ultimate choice: Will he lose the companionship of those he cares about and live alone in pain for the rest of his days, or will he deny God, the one he has trusted in all of his life?
